You need to install a nitros kit for the AMG ... only way to get those horseyz back ... plus what could possibly go wrong?

Well you can’t buy the cheapest German sports car and expect it to not have any issues in the future. But I understand you’re trying to make content for your channel so it makes sense. However if people buy nicer cars for more money, I won’t say they for sure won’t have problems and all, but theoretically speaking they should be more reliable (when the car is in nicer condition with no issues people tend to ask more for it). I’ve bought several used cars before and I actually bought the most expensive ones in the nicest condition available in my area. And they didn’t have any issues while I had them. I had a 2003 BMW 540i M-Tech a few years ago for one year, bought it with 67k miles, I was daily driving it and it had basically zero issues. A low coolant message came on once, my friend checked and told me there’s a very minor leak. Topped it off and told me not to worry about it. Sold it for more than what I paid for it a year later. But it’s a gamble when you’re buying a used car with no warranty, we all pretty much know that.

Mercs of this era are unreliable because the accountants at MB were running the company, build quality and use of cheap parts became the norm thus no longer bulletproof!

It's a grocery getter and you are beating on the engine. Smart! That stupid vehicle was probably over priced as all HELL. The damn thing is not EVEN worth 4 grand. I would have had it CRUSHED. No days I look at a used car as what needs to be fixed and KBB value, NOT car fax. Then deduct the repair costs and THAT is what the car is worth , market value. If you see it going backwards, BAIL OUT.

11:03 I'm lucky to have owned a couple of brand new cars, and a couple of old cars (20-25 years), and I can confirm : you either pay in maintenance, or in depreciation. If you want to keep an old car running (that is, an enthousiast car, not an economical boring car), it will cost you anywhere between a couple hundred or a couple thousands a year, just because "things break".

it's a shame the E63 AMG and E60 M5 are some of the coolest cars ever made but have SUCH issues - It's crazy how much people spend on them to keep them running (they are worth every penny!) BMW and MB know they can make cars so broken and people will still buy them bc they are cool AF!

In Europe (even in Germany) we drive our cars till they reach 500-800k kilometers, because they were made to do that. 204'000 miles - these are rookie numbers :)

It's an inevitable consequence of technological complexity combined with obsolescence. Keeping these cars fault-free is like managing the maintenance on an Airbus jet. Sure you can keep it flying faultlessly for 25 years, but the costs are going to increase exponentially as it gets old. We'll just have to get used to it.

oh man, this e63 looks sweet but is actualy a nightmare! Even though it's in some pretty good shape (from the look atleast). I bought and started restoring an BMW e39 Touring, wich was in some realy ran down condition, and I till can say, after replaceing a lot stuff... It still cost me like 1/3rd like you've paid for this, even including some tuneing and painting it new. The BMW is from mid of 2001, and yes, it's a wagon but somewhat of an 5M Sleeper, pretty rare to find nowdays in some good conditions, sadly, becouse they are still reliable BMW's, and pretty good looking too.

Between plastic made to look like metal, crappy quality materials overall (like the A class B pillar trim), making the majority of models 'AMG' when it should be nothing more than a sport model at best.

If you do any mechanicwl work on an older model, and do the same work on a new model its very, very obvious that costs have been cut.
